A large crowd gathered to see the demolition of Rose Towers on the 4th of July, 2012. Five
minutes before its destruction people were alerted through a public
address system and police car sirens had already sounded several times.
Explosions and a rumbling sound were heard but the tower was intact.
Then suddenly it collapsed and all that remained were clouds of dust and
debris.
